What's inside
Whipped slowly until light — no fillers, and nothing synthetic along the way. Because this is a leave-on product, the finished formula and its shelf life are confirmed with our advisors before every run.
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Lac (Raw Jersey Milk).
The final ingredient list is printed on every jar, in descending order by weight.
In use
Scoop a small amount with dry fingertips and warm it between your palms for a moment. It melts on contact and spreads much further than a cream.
Smooth it on straight after the shower, while skin is still slightly damp — elbows, knees, hands, anywhere that asks for it.
Whipped butter softens above about 25 °C — keep the jar out of the sun, and keep water out of it by using dry fingertips. It will hold its whip.
Milked at sunrise· Poured the same day· Cured six weeks on timber racks
How it's madeQuestions
A lotion is mostly water; this is butters, oils and Mona’s milk, whipped until light. It is richer and more concentrated, so a small amount covers more than you would expect — one jar goes a long way.
Just after the shower, while skin is still slightly damp. Warm a small scoop between your palms and smooth it on — it melts on contact.
Whipped butter softens in heat and can melt above roughly 25 °C. Keep the jar somewhere cool and out of the sun. If it does melt and re-set, the whip settles into a denser cream — the butter itself is unchanged and fine to use.
Yes — printed on every jar and listed on this page, in descending order by weight. If your skin reacts easily, patch-test on a small area first.
