Batch № 001 is the first soap ever poured at Maison Jersey — milked, made and cured on one farm in the Hawkesbury. This set exists for that batch alone.
Why numbered
There is only one first cure. Each set carries its number in ink, assigned in the order the orders arrive — and once the batch is spoken for, Set 03 is finished. Not scarce by strategy; scarce by arithmetic.

Every piece is wrapped in paper and the set sealed together with gold wax. No plastic, no ribbon curls — a quiet parcel that looks like what it is.

Give us their address and it posts straight to the recipient, gift-ready. Give us yours and hand it over in person.

How many sets exist?
As many as the first cure allows, and no more. Numbers are assigned in ink, in order of purchase; when the batch is spoken for, the set closes for good.
Can you post it directly to the person I’m gifting?
Yes — give their address instead of yours when you order. The set arrives wrapped, sealed and carded, ready to open.
What should I write on the card?
Whatever you’d write yourself. We copy your words by hand, exactly as sent — and if you’d rather leave it blank, blank it stays.
What’s the timber dish for?
A soap this slow deserves to drain. The oiled dish keeps the bar dry between uses — the single habit that makes a six-week cure last.
When will it ship?
